Pros: First off, I was impressed that the system didn’t come with any typical bloatware. Just a clean windows 10 OS, this was a huge plus to me since it saved me having to reimage the machine.
Overall performance exceeded my expectations on both CPU and GPU, though the results were not top of the line, they were above median for the products. Chassis is not flimsy like most laptops, and the build is solid without having issues with the exterior lighting effects or dead pixels on the monitor.
For the price I paid for the product, and how long it took to arrive, im very satisfied with this laptop. Just not 100% if I’d return to this company and I’ll explain why in the cons section.
Cons: The biggest con i have with the purchase, was that it was supposed to have a 2TB drive, which is a low quality drive that was installed and only has 1.7TB, so i reduced eggs by 1. (This is normal for drives to have slightly lower than advertised space, but I was expecting at least 1.8TB)
Strongly recommend a laptop cooling pad if used for gaming, as the heat doesn’t have adequate exhaust ports, but the Temps don’t get excessive to cause hardware issues.
I didn’t realize how few USB ports the machine has when purchasing, but only 3 is a bit disappointing. Given I’m a IT tech, I use more than 3 consistently, but for general users it should be adequate.
Only other con I have was the quality of the packaging when the product arrived. The exterior shipping box was in perfect shape without dents. When I removed the box from the exterior box, the package looked like it practically went through a blender. There was excessive damage to the box and looks to have been torn open (I assume to install the upgrade modules like the RAM or SSD). Luckily there was no damage to the laptop but all parts were not properly in their wrapping for the cables.
Overall Review: Strongly impressed with the performance of the product. Price for performance is very fair with only minor issues that comes from the manufacturer design. Solid computer for the price, highly recommend.
