Pros: These drives are fast.
2.5″ size is fantastic in our Dell server with a 1×4 backplane. Running 4 drives in a 1u box versus 2 of the 3.5″ drives in the 1×2.
Cons: None so far! Price for SAS drives is still fairly high for dollar per GB, but you’re buying performance here.
Overall Review: Please ignore the review below as the price difference is for the 3.5 ” version of this drive.
Nothing against the reviewer as it’s something very easily overlooked.
Pros: I wanted to point out that the 15k RPM version of this hard drive is actually cheaper than this 10k version, by about $30.
(cheaper on Newegg, at least)

Overall Review: Just wanted to point our the price difference. Both are 36.something GB with 16mb cache SAS interface.
Unrelated question: Why are the X > 7.2k RPM hard drives NOT SATAII? Is there some problem with SATA running above 7.2k RPM?
