Pros: sounded good from reviews…
Cons: wouldn’t fit in Macbook compartment… it appears Macbook hard drives Serial ATA port cannot be covered up by the hard drives enclosure…at least that’s what I believe it was. I couldn’t get it to go all the way in.
Pros: its just as fast as my old drive! if not faster and quieter too!
Cons: could have saved 25$ by getting it here. (but f.r.y’s is fun because its like disneyland for nerds)
Overall Review: well i haven’t had this thing for very long but i do want to respond to the previous review. he said that he couldn’t get it in his macbook because it wouldn’t fit but imine fits perfectly. i think maybe the reson it wouldnt fit is because 1. the hard drive has to be in the cage
2. you can’t put the hard drive in upsidedown.
only things i can think of why it wouldn’t work.
Pros: Good Solid Notebook Harddrive. Has worked flawlessly in my Toshiba notebook.
Cons: None, it is a hard drive, it does what it is supposed to do.
Overall Review: It is lame to give the Hard Drive a (1) egg because it doesn’t fit your Macbook. The is the fault of Apple, not Fujitsu. Don’t ding Fujitsu because you bought something for your Apple that doesn’t fit it.
Pros: NewEgg price was tops as always.
Cons: Drive died after having for only a little more that 3 months. Reminiscent of the Hitatchi “DeathStar” HDD’s. MTBF > 3 months = not cool.
Overall Review: That’s what I get for buying OEM.
