Overall Review: I’ve deployed 8 of these so far and they’ve been running for about 6 weeks with no problems. They’re all in Linux servers, in pairs using btrfs RAID1, about 30% full. Weekly scrubs have produced no errors yet.
This is the power-disable model. It won’t work with the SATA power connectors on consumer power supplies. I just cut the 3.3v wire on the SATA power connectors from the PSU and taped both ends. Hardly anything uses the SATA 3.3V anyway. Every drive I’ve tried works fine without it.
