Pros: It is was it is a SAS 36GB 15K Drive
Cons: IT IS NOT!!!! SATA compatable
Pros: Good performance, better than other 15k SCSI hard drives.
Cons: Controller cards are expensive and choice of SAS card with PCIe is very limited.
Overall Review: SAS controller cards are compatible with SATA hardrives. However, SATA controllers are not compatible with SAS.

Overall Review: Yes it is SAS and being SAS, it is not SATA or SATA compatible– No more than MFM, RLL, SCSI, or PATA would be. SATA is SATA, SAS is SAS.
Pros: Nice speed; but it is a 15K drive
