Pros: What can I say, Sapphire is one of the best cards out there. Excellent quality, reliability and great looks. This is my 7th Sapphire card over the years, several of them purchased here on Newegg. Highly recommend Sapphire!

Cons: Only complaint I have is not about the video card, but rather that I was offered and paid extra for next day delivery by Newegg and the card did NOT arrive on time. Extremely annoying to sit around for 2 days waiting for a package to be delivered that requires a signature…

Overall Review: I am very happy with my purchase, despite the fact that I payed extra for faster shipping that I didn’t receive. I will add that I wanted the Sapphire RX 6800 XT, but the price was insane. I don’t fault Newegg or Sapphire for that, its just the market.

Pros: I can play most games on ultra settings, it’s wonderful for my work in machine learning, and it’s super quiet, even with the fans going full speed.

These 6000 series GPU’s are absolutely amazing, even when you consider the supply-chain limited markup.

Cons: Initially, I was using Ubuntu 20.04.2 LTS, and the kernel (currently October 14, 2021) for Ubuntu wouldn’t work with the 6000 series architecture. I could get one display to work, but not two.

This meant I needed to switch over to another distro, so I am now using Pop! 20.04… and it’s actually pretty much the same experience. This isn’t so much a knock on AMD, but more of a note for people with Linux OS issues: Check your distro before you purchase and make sure you’re going to be compatible.

Overall Review: I’m happy with my new RX 6700 XT. The installation process was easy, and I didn’t have any clearance issues with my case. I’d say if you’re in the market for a “budget” GPU, this thing can run pretty much any game at Ultra settings in 1080p resolution, and if you want to run 1440p resolution, you can probably still run high or ultra settings and get better than 60 fps.

Look, you know what you’re getting. It’s a really nice GPU, and unless you really need super high fps rates, this is a bargain. Also, if you work in machine learning like I do, there’s no better deal on the market. Compared to my old RX570, it’s not even close.
