Overall Review: My daughters 250gb WD drive died in her nettop – this drive was priced just $3.00 more than RMA shipping. I used WHS to restore Win-7 starter to her last saved point… and all is good in her world once again 🙂 Much faster turn around to get a new drive then to send the little computer in for repair and wait for it to come back – Thanks Newegg for the awesome sales you have!

Pros: Works as a second system drive for me, no apps all files and folders.
Recognized by up and running PC in Windows 7 x64 immediately after a trip to Disk Manager. You know where that is in Windows, don’t you? If not you need to learn so this HDD will show up after a format.
Cons: I wanted it in an external enclosure. I would up getting the whole thing for a Terayte in an included enclosure all formatted and good to go FOR $20.00 MORE!!!! Oh well, needed some space in the PC anyway. Actually this HDD is now rather expensive per MB or G ot TB.
Overall Review: Cheaper to keep ‘er in this case as RMAing it costs shipping.
