Unity PF UPS power module packs maximum power in minimal space, saving valuable
rack space for revenue-generating equipment like servers, switches and storage.
- Power module and internal batteries require only 3U. (5U total with transformer.)
- Unity (1.0) power factor equalizes VA and watts to support more equipment, making better use of existing power infrastructure and reducing the need for additional circuits.
- Double conversion provides voltage- and frequency-independent (VFI) operation with ±1% voltage regulation and pure sine wave output.
- Industrial-grade overload capacity supports higher inrush currents at startup and fluctuating power demands during use without interrupting production lines.
- ENERGY STAR® 2.0 provides third-party confirmation of highly efficient operation that saves energy and reduces costs.
- 2U step-down transformer provides 120V outlets to support low-voltage equipment.
Smart Batteries with Date Chip
Worn-out batteries are the leading cause of UPS failures that lead to unexpected power loss. Hot-swappable Unity PF smart batteries enable automated advance replacement notifications so you always know when it’s time to replace batteries – before they cause downtime.
- An embedded date chip that stays with the batteries records the first-use date to enable proactive battery replacement alerts.
- Batteries automatically communicate with the UPS to provide accurate runtime data.
- Temperature-compensated charging optimizes battery charge time and extends battery lifespan.
- Self-aligning blind-mate connections make it easier to remove and replace the batteries, enabling single-person UPS installation and streamlining battery maintenance.
- Battery-independent operation ensures automatic UPS restart after lengthy power outages.
- An optional smart 3U external battery pack (BP192V12RT3US) extends runtime and supports all smart battery features, including automatic runtime data updates.
Maintenance Bypass PDU
The bypass PDU simplifies installation and maintenance tasks while eliminating maintenance-related downtime.
- Input and output power connections are located on the detachable bypass PDU, allowing power module maintenance or replacement without connected equipment downtime.
- Because hardwire connections are also located on the bypass PDU, maintenance does not require an electrician to disconnect and reconnect wiring.
- Self-aligning blind-mate connections make connection and disconnection quicker and easier.
Controllable Outlet Banks with Auto-Probe Feature
Controllable outlet banks combine with the preinstalled network management card to provide switched PDU functionality.
- Controllable outlet banks enable remote automated load control for runtime prioritization (load shedding) during extended outages.
- The auto-probe feature enables self-healing reboots of unresponsive devices.
- Outlet banks can be turned off or on manually or automatically over the network.
Built-in Network Management
The Unity PF power module has a network management card preinstalled in the SNMP slot.
- Provides SNMP-based DCIM and NMS compatibility, as well as remote access, control, time-based data logging and user-definable alerts through PowerAlert® Device Manager.
- The front-panel LCD can display a unique QR code that connects a technician’s mobile device to the network management console.
- Tripp Lite’s free PowerAlert Element Manager software streamlines configuration and maintenance of multiple devices.
